Water Removal and Drying

Roof leaks, pipe breaks, plumbing leaks, and well and sewer overflows are only some of the causes of water damage. Our extensive array of equipment will quickly remove thousands of gallons of water so immediate drying can begin.

The one crucial action in successful water damage mitigation is immediate drying. Drying cannot be overemphasized in successful water damage mitigation. It is essential to begin the drying process as soon as possible and to continue drying until all building materials have acceptable moisture content within recommended standards.

We have a full inventory of commercial equipment that will effectively manage water-damage projects of any size.

Our indirect-fired air heaters provide consistent drying and exceptional results. The units have proven very useful in circumstances where electricity is not available.

Part of the dry-out includes the removal of wet and damaged contents and materials. Every project will have some items that cannot be salvaged. Drying quickly and completely will minimize the loss. Water, organic building materials, and contents provide hospitable conditions for microbial growth mold. It is imperative to try to prevent mold growth caused by water damage.

We have a standard protocol to prevent mold growth once the initial water damage has been corrected. Our approach is focused on returning the property to a pre-loss condition as soon as possible.

This was proven when I received their 50 item scope letter detailing exactly what they will do. They were not the lowest price however they provided what my basement needed for a complete job. Professional, knowledgable, hard-working, friendly and efficient are just a handful of words to describe Eastern Basements and their amazing team! I purchased a 200 year old inn in 2014 that needed almost everything and went about replacing roofs, septic systems, plumbing, electric and so much more to still have a musty, damp space leaving me frustrated and the building at risk of additional problems in the future. After meeting with Bob and one of his sons for the estimate, I had the feeling that this was the outfit for me. I have an old house (1900s) with a cobbled-stone foundation that had a wet musty basement with areas of open soil. Eastern Basements fixed it all for me. They installed 2 sump pumps, an industrial dehumidifier and covered the floor. That was over 2 years ago and I have had no water or humidity in the basement since. They were extremely professional.
